ESET Password Manager is discontinuing

ESET will discontinue Password Manager. The End of Sales date was October 21, 2025. After this date, customers cannot purchase a new subscription with Password Manager, and there will be no replacement app from ESET.

The End of Life date for Password Manager is October 18, 2027. After this date, Password Manager will stop working and all data will be deleted.

To keep your data, export your saved passwords and import them into another password manager of your choice.

  1. Which subscriptions contain ESET Password Manager?

    ESET Password Manager is currently only available for customers who activated their yearly subscription before the End of Sales date (October 21, 2025). The subscription remains eligible to activate and use Password Manager until the end of their current subscription period.

  2. What is ESET Password Manager?

    ESET Password Manager is a standalone feature that is available as an app for Android and iOS devices or as an extension for major browsers. It protects and stores your passwords and personal data. It also includes a form completion (autofill) feature that saves time by completing web forms automatically and accurately.

  6. How do I change my Master Password?

    If you know your current Master Password and want to change it, open the ESET Password Manager app or a browser extension, tap/click the menu icon, then tap/click SettingsMy AccountChange Master Password.   7. What if I forget my Master Password?

    You can use the Recovery Key provided during registration to the web extension or registration to the mobile app to reset your Master Password. When you change your Master Password, ESET Password Manager will generate a new Recovery Key.     Forgotten or lost Recovery Key or Master Password

    If you forget or lose your Recovery Key or Master Password, ESET cannot resend them.

  8. How do I enable the ESET Password Manager browser extension on an additional web browser?

    If you have installed, enabled, and integrated ESET Password Manager with an existing web browser, you can add the extension to another web browser at any time. If you recently installed a new web browser, you must restart your computer. See a complete list of supported browsers for ESET Password Manager.

  9. How many passwords can be stored in ESET Password Manager?

    There is no limit to the number of credentials that can be stored in ESET Password Manager. However, you may be limited by the storage/disk space available on your system.

  10. Can ESET Password Manager browser extension be used with Safe Banking & Browsing?

    Yes, Password Manager can be used with Safe Banking & Browsing.

  11. Can I have my User ID and Password autofill when using the Safe Banking & Browsing browser?

    Yes, this will work using a secure browser. You can also copy/paste your login information from ESET Password Manager into the required website fields when using the Safe Banking & Browsing protected browser.

  12. How do I add extra data to a saved password?

    Open ESET Password Manager from a browser extension or the app, tap/click the menu icon → Accounts and tap/click Edit (pencil icon) next to the Web account or App account you want to change. From here, you can change the link, your login credentials, and password, and add notes to the account.

  13. How do I enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in ESET Password Manager?

    Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of protection used to ensure the security of online accounts beyond just a username and password. You can enable 2FA for your ESET Password Manager account.   14. What can I do with an expired subscription in ESET Password Manager?

    If the subscription has expired, you can export the data and import it into a new password manager.

  15. Can I use the ESET Password Manager browser extension in private browsing mode?

    The ESET Password Manager browser extension is unavailable for private browsing mode.

  16. Can I assign passwords to unique subdomains?

  1. Issue: The ESET Password Manager browser extension is not working.

    Solution: Ensure you are logged into one of the available ESET Password Manager browser extensions.
