[KB3189] Resolve modules update errors in ESET Windows home and small office products

Clear the update cache

1. Verify that your internet connection is active by visiting the main ESET web page. You must have an active internet connection before you can download updates.

2. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows product.

3. Press the F5 key to open Advanced setup.

4. Click Update → Clear → OK.

   Clear update cache is unavailable

   If the Clear button next to Clear update cache is unavailable, restart your computer and attempt to update again. After your computer has restarted, repeat steps 2-4. Clear should now be active.

5. Restart your computer.

6. Open the main program window and click Update → Check for updates. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall your ESET product.
