Upgrade scenarios
We strongly recommend that you upgrade to the latest version of your ESET product before upgrading Windows. Upgrading your ESET endpoint product before upgrading Windows will help to ensure it is compatible with the Windows version you want to install, as well as keep your ESET product settings and license information intact.

Upgrade with ESET Endpoint Security / ESET Endpoint Antivirus 9.x and later
You can upgrade to Windows 10 or Windows 11 with your ESET product installed. All settings and license information will automatically be transferred.
ESET Endpoint products version 10.0 are no longer supported. Upgrade your ESET product to the latest version before upgrading Windows.
Upgrade with ESET Endpoint Security / ESET Endpoint Antivirus 7.3 - 8.x
You can upgrade to Windows 10 with your ESET product installed. All settings and license information will automatically be transferred.

These ESET endpoint product versions are no longer supported. Upgrade your ESET product to the latest version before upgrading Windows.
You will also be prompted to upgrade to the latest version of your ESET product after you upgrade Windows. Click OK to be redirected to a web page where you can download the latest version of your ESET product. All settings and license information will automatically be transferred. If you experience issues during the upgrade process, contact ESET Technical Support.
