  • You are using ESET Password Manager application or Password Manager browser extension and receive one of the following error messages

This article applies to application and browser extension / a feature in ESET HOME

This article applies to both ESET Password Manager standalone application for Android and iOS and the Password Manager browser extension / a feature in ESET HOME.

Error—You need to register first. Continue to "Create an account"

You receive this error message when you try to log in with pre-registered but no registered account. Tap/click Create an account and register yourself.

Error—Invalid username or password

This error is displayed when you are already registered or migrated. You are trying to log in with the wrong Master Password.

You receive this error message when you try to log in with no preregistered account. You must log in to your ESET HOME account and add a password store.
