[KB8331] Resolve the "Subscription suspended" notification via payment details update in ESET HOME and ESET home and small office products

Issue

Mandatory ESET HOME account

ESET HOME account is mandatory for installation for all subscriptions purchased after November 15, 2023.

Solution

Update payment details from ESET HOME if you purchased your subscription from ESET Global eStore (GeS)

  1. Log in to your ESET HOME account.

  2. Click Subscriptions.

  3. Click Open subscription below the suspended subscription.

  4. Under Subscription options, click Manage payment details. You will be redirected to the page where you can update your payment details.

Update payment details from ESET HOME if you purchased your subscription from other than ESET Global eStore (non-GeS)

  1. Log in to your ESET HOME account.

  2. Click Subscriptions.

  4. Under Subscription options, click Manage subscription. You will be redirected to the page where you can update your payment details.

Update payment details from ESET HOME if you have an Auto-renewal subscription

  1. Log in to your ESET HOME account.

  2. Click Subscriptions.

  4. Under Subscription options, click Manage auto-renewal. You will be redirected to the page where you can update your payment details.

Update payment details from your ESET product

ESET products cannot be activated with a suspended subscription

If you are selecting a subscription for activation of your ESET product, you cannot select a suspended subscription. A suspended subscription is marked with a red "The subscription is suspended" notification.

Click Manage subscription for the suspended subscription and update your payment details according to your subscription type (see the previous sections in this article).

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows home or small office product.

  2. Click ESET HOME account and click Open ESET HOME to manage your subscriptions.

    If you are not connected to your ESET HOME account, follow these instructions to log in. If you do not have an ESET HOME account, follow these instructions to create it.
