Safe Banking & Browsing is an additional layer of protection designed to protect your financial data during online transactions. For more information, see Safe Banking & Browsing.

Solution

Disable and re-enable Safe Banking & Browsing

Disabled protection

While Safe Banking & Browsing is paused or disabled, you are not protected when you visit a banking website. Your data is not encrypted, and the driver to protect against keyloggers is not enabled.

  1. Disable Safe Banking & Browsing.

  2. Restart your device.

  3. Re-enable Safe Banking & Browsing.

  4. Relaunch the Safe Banking & Browsing protected browser window. To avoid website redirection, use the Secure all browsers feature.

  5. If the issue is still not resolved, manually uninstall your ESET Windows home or small office application and install it again.

Enable the Secure all browsers feature

Redirection prevention

The Secure all browsers feature launches all supported browsers in secure mode, preventing redirects when accessing known banking websites.

Without it enabled, your ESET Windows home or small office application opens a Safe Banking & Browsing protected window in your current browser when you visit a known banking website, which triggers a redirect.

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows home or small office application.

  2. Click SetupSecurity Tools.

  3. Click the gear icon next to Safe Banking & Browsing and select Enable Secure all browsers.
