[KB7920] Schedule a regular scan on devices managed through ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem

1. Open the ESET PROTECT Web Console.

2. Create a policy or open an existing one. To configure the policy settings, follow the steps below.

3. Click Settings → Scheduler → Edit.

   

4. Click Add.

   

5. Type a name for the scheduler task. In the Task type drop-down menu, select On-demand device scan and click Next.

   

6. Select the scan frequency and click Next.

   

7. Set the execution time, recurrence and day and click Next.

   

8. Define if and how the scan should be retriggered if skipped by the user and click Next.

   

9. In the Scan profile drop-down menu, select In-depth scan and click Finish.

   

10. Verify that the check box next to the scheduler task you created is selected and click Save.

    

11. Assign the policy to the devices where you want to schedule the regular scan.

12. Click Finish.
