Solution

With the global launch of ESET PROTECT Hub for business customers, some resellers may still be using legacy systems, while their new business customers are already registered in ESET PROTECT Hub.

This article contains potential solutions to address this scenario.

License related operations

Any standard license-related operations (renewal, cancellation, or modification) cannot be performed in ESET PROTECT Hub itself.

Option 1: One User Multiple Companies feature in ESET PROTECT Hub

ESET PROTECT Hub offers a feature to reuse email addresses across multiple ESET PROTECT Hub accounts. This allows business customers to create new users by sending invitations to resellers. Resellers no longer need to generate unique email addresses for each business customer account. Instead, one email address can be utilized to access multiple ESET PROTECT Hub accounts.

This streamlined approach enables seamless customer support, allowing you to provide hands-on assistance directly from ESET PROTECT Hub.


Option 2: Contact your Partner

Partners can get read-only access to ESET PROTECT Hub, providing visibility across their entire distribution network and offering diverse support options for business customers. Resellers can contact the Partner Support team if a business customer requires assistance within ESET PROTECT Hub. The Partner Support team can then facilitate efficient and personalized support by impersonating the customer's ESET PROTECT Hub account.


Option 3: Create a case for ESET HQ Support

If the previous options were not sufficient to provide the required support, create a case for ESET HQ Support.


Option 4: Co-management

This option applies only to resellers that transitioned into ESET PROTECT Hub, with a properly set up Standard Reseller Entity.
