[KB8036] Deploy ESET endpoint product for ARM using ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem

• Deploy ESET endpoint applications to Windows ARM64 systems clients remotely using the software install task in ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem

Solution

1. Open the ESET PROTECT Web Console.

2. Create or edit a task in ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem.

3. In the Basic section, type a Name and optional fields like Description and Task Category. The Task drop-down menu will automatically be set to Software Install.

   

4. Click Settings. Select Install by direct package URL and into the corresponding field, type or copy/paste the package URL: https://download.eset.com/com/eset/apps/business/ees/windows/latest/ees_arm64.msi. Select the check box next to I accept the legal documents. Select the check box next to Automatically restart the device if needed.

   

5. Click Select below ESET subscription.

   

6. Select the appropriate subscription, then click OK.

   

7. Click Summary → Finish.

   

8. When prompted, click Create Trigger to create a trigger to execute the task and select the target devices to send an activation task to the computers on which you installed ESET endpoint applications so that they can begin receiving regular updates.
