A trigger must be assigned to a client task for it to be executed.

Solution

Start the trigger creation.

Automatically after task creation: When prompted, click Create Trigger.

Manually after task creation: Click Tasks, select the task type, click the task for which you want to create a trigger and click Run on.

Under Basic, type a name for the trigger into the Trigger Description field and click Continue.

Under Target, click Add targets.

Select the devices or device groups where you want to trigger the task and click OK.

Click Continue.

Under Trigger, specify when the task should be triggered and click Finish.
