Open the ESET Password Manager browser extension, click the Menu icon → Settings.
Scroll down and click Import data.
Select a vendor from the Choose file drop-down menu. To import data exported from the previous version of Password Manager, select ESET Password Manager v2. Type or copy/paste in the Master Password and click Choose file.
The file format (ESET Password Manager XML) you exported from version 2 is named ESET Password Manager v2 when importing the file into version 3.
Select the file path, select the password file and click Open.
Use the supported format used to import passwords
Different password manager vendors require different file types. Ensure the supported format (.csv or .json) is used to import passwords into ESET Password Manager.
Click Continue. If you created a File protection password during the export process, type or copy/paste this password into the respective field and click Continue.
Once the import has been completed, all the saved passwords will appear under Accounts.
