[KB7586] Export your passwords and other data from ESET Password Manager

Issue

A new version of Password Manager is available

Password Manager 2.x is no longer supported. Upgrade Password Manager to the latest version (for mobile devices or extensions)

Solution

Export is from the Password Manager browser extension only

The export will only contain data from the browser extension and not the mobile application.

Export options

Select Password-protected file to create encrypted backups of your password manager database in .json format. Select CSV to create unencrypted files in .csv format. The CSV format is not encrypted and we do not recommend using them for passwords or personal data.
