What is Anti-Theft?

Personal devices are constantly at risk of being lost or stolen. If your device is ever lost or stolen, ESET Anti-Theft enables you to monitor its usage and track it anywhere in the world using IP address localization. ESET Anti-Theft not only helps you track and retrieve your missing device but also protects your personal data.

How does Anti-Theft work?

When you activate ESET Anti-Theft, your ESET application connects with the Anti-Theft portal in ESET HOME. Use the ESET HOME portal to manage the state of your device and trigger monitoring if the device is ever lost or stolen.

When a device is set as lost or stolen, your ESET application automatically sends information from the device to your ESET HOME portal, regardless of its location worldwide. Any time your missing device accesses the internet, your ESET application sends updated screenshots, webcam images, and GPS coordinates to the ESET HOME portal.
