Issue

Disable Anti-Theft protection

Anti-Theft should be enabled on portable devices

Anti-Theft is designed to protect sensitive data stored on your device and to help you locate it if it is lost or stolen.

We recommend that you keep Anti-Theft protection enabled on portable devices.

  1. Open the main program window of your Windows ESET application.

  2. Click SetupSecurity tools.

  3. Disable the Anti-Theft toggle.

  4. Click Disable and remove.

  5. Type your ESET HOME email address and password and click Disable.

  6. Click Close.


Solution

Disable the "ESET Anti-Theft is available" notification

  1. Open the main program window of your Windows ESET application.

  2. In the Anti-Theft is available notification, click Do not remind me again.

You can still enable Anti-Theft anytime.
