Pause or disable Safe Banking & Browsing 

Devices with ARM Processors

Safe Banking & Browsing is only supported by Firefox and Microsoft Edge web browsers when a device uses an ARM processor.

Brave support in versions 17.2 and later

ESET Security Ultimate, ESET HOME Security Premium, ESET HOME Security Essential and ESET Small Business Security versions 17.2 and later now support Brave.

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows product.

  2. Click SetupSecurity tools.

  1. Click the enabled toggle next to Safe Banking & Browsing for options to pause or disable protection—the toggle turns yellow when paused or red when disabled.

    Disabled protection

    While protection is paused or disabled, the secure browser will not launch when you visit a banking website. Data is not encrypted, and the driver to protect against keyloggers is not enabled.

  1. Click the drop-down menu and select when to pause or permanently turn off protection. Click Apply.

Re-enable Safe Banking & Browsing

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows product.

  2. Click SetupSecurity tools.

  1. Click the toggle next to Safe Banking & Browsing to re-enable protection (the toggle turns green when enabled).
