Issue
- The ESET PROTECT On-Prem repository does not work or is blank
- Error message "Failed to get installers: Failed to synchronize package repository" is displayed in ESET PROTECT On-Prem
- Firewall is blocking the connection to the ESET PROTECT On-Prem repository

Solution
Test your connection to the ESET PROTECT On-Prem repository

Open the following link in your web browser: http://repository.eset.com/v1/info.meta. If you can download the metadata file, you are connected to the repository.

If you cannot access the repository:
- Contact your system administrator to resolve firewall issues.
- Ensure you have at least HTTP 1.1 enabled when accessing the repository or ESET update servers via third-party proxy. This applies to all products that have access to the ESET repository.
- Do not use an IP address to access the ESET repository.

Check your connection to the repository again. If your connection continues to fail, contact ESET Technical Support.
Change the repository in ESET PROTECT On-Prem

Click More (three dots) → Settings and expand Advanced Settings.

In the REPOSITORY section, type the ESET PROTECT On-Prem repository link into the Server field and click Save. For more information, see the repository options.

Change the repository in ESET Management Agent

Click Policies → ESET Management Agent. Click the policy you want to edit and click Edit.

Click Settings, in the REPOSITORY section, type the ESET PROTECT On-Prem repository link into the Server field and click Finish. For more information, see the repository options.
