You can install several ESET applications based on your purchased ESET subscription. For more information, see the list of ESET subscription tiers and available ESET applications.

Solution

Select a different ESET application during installation

Product with the most security features

When you select a subscription from ESET HOME to activate your ESET application, the application with the most security features will be installed.

For example, if you have ESET HOME Security Ultimate subscription, ESET Security Ultimate will be installed. Follow the process below to change the application during the installation.

  1. Log in to your ESET HOME account, add your subscription, and download the installation file.

  2. Double-click the downloaded installation file and follow the instructions.

  3. In the Review your activation details view, click Change product.

  4. Select the application you want to install (in this example, ESET Smart Security Premium is selected) and click Continue.

  5. If you are changing to an application with fewer security features, read the message and click Continue.

  6. Review your activation details and click Continue.

Change the ESET application after installation

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows application.

  2. Click Help and support → Change product.

  3. Select the application you want to change to (in this example, ESET Smart Security Premium is selected) and click Continue.

  4. Click Activate.

  5. If you are changing to an application with fewer security features, read the message and click Continue.

  6. Click Finish change. Your application will restart and change to the selected application.
