[KB6997] Uninstall an ESET endpoint or server application on a client device (Windows)

Issue

  • Uninstall ESET Endpoint Security, ESET Endpoint Antivirus, ESET Server Security for Windows Server, or ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server

A restart may be required

If you are uninstalling the ESET application on a server, plan a maintenance window, as a restart may be required to fully remove all components.

  1. Press the Windows key + R.

  2. In the Open field, type Appwiz.cpl and click OK.

  3. From the list of installed applications, select the ESET application that you want to uninstall and click Change.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Click Remove.

  6. Click Remove.

  7. Click Finish.
