Issue
- You want to store unwanted email messages (spam) in a different folder other than the default Junk E-mail folder
Solution
I. In ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server
- Open ESET Mail Security.
- Press the F5 key to open Advanced setup.
- Expand Server, click Mail transport protection. In the Action to take on spam message drop-down menu, select No action.
- In the Template added to the subject of spam messages field, define a text tag that will be added to the subject field of all unwanted messages, for example "[SPAM]".
- Click OK and continue to part II.
- Click New Rule.
- In the Rules Wizard, select Move messages with specific words in the subject to a folder. Under Step 2: Edit the rule description, click specific words.
- In the Specify words or phrases to search for in the subject field, type the text tag you defined in Part I, Step 4 above (in this example, [SPAM]) and then click Add. Click OK to save your changes.

- Under Step 2: Edit the rule description, click specified.

- Expand Inbox, select the folder that you want to store spam messages in, and click OK.

- Click Next until you reach the final window in the Rules Wizard. In the Step 1: Specify a name for this rule field, type a name for this rule.
- Select the check box next to Turn on this rule and then click Finish. All messages with a specific text in the subject ("[SPAM]") will be moved into the defined folder.
