[KB7650] Stop managing client computers in ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem (uninstall ESET Management Agent)

Issue

Solution

1. Open the ESET PROTECT Web Console.

2. Create a Client Task:

   • In ESET PROTECT, click Tasks → Client Tasks, expand Client Tasks → Operating System, select Stop Managing (Uninstall ESET Management Agent) and click New Client Task.

   

   • In ESET PROTECT On-Prem, click Tasks, expand Client Tasks → Operating System, select Stop Managing (Uninstall ESET Management Agent) and click Add → Client Task.

   

3. Type a name into the Name field; in this example, Uninstall ESET Management Agent is used. Tags and Description fields are optional. Click Finish.

   

4. Click Create Trigger when you are asked whether you want to add a trigger for the client task.

   

5. Create a trigger to execute a client task in ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem.

6. Your task will be sent to clients. You may need to remove the clients from ESET PROTECT or the ESET PROTECT On-Prem Web Console after uninstalling ESET Management Agent.
