Solution
There is no recovery process, or password reset for forgotten Key-File passwords in EEE standalone clients. Support is unable to recover passwords or Key-Files.
Alternatives to regain access to the Key-File:
- Users that know their old password and have a Key-File backup associated with the old password can restore from the backup. After restoring the Key-File, the password will be reverted to the old password.
- Users that no longer need to access the encrypted data in EEE can delete the Key-File and set up a new one.
