Solution

ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE) Client and EEE Server are separate products from ESET Full Disk Encryption (EFDE)

The article below applies only to the EEE Client or EEE Server and not EFDE.

Changes must be completed for each workstation

Admin password changes must be completed for each workstation and cannot be performed in bulk.

  1. Log in to ESET Endpoint Encryption Server.

  2. Click Workstations, select the workstation that requires a password update and then click Details.

  3. Click FDE Logins, select the Admin FDE user account and then click Change.

  4. Type the new password and click Post Change.

The status will update to Change pending.

The client machine will automatically update during the next sync.  Users can also manually sync the client to the server.  When the client is updated, the login status on the server will automatically display OK.
