Solution
The following instructions are intended for users who cannot upgrade to version 4.9.0 or do not have internet access to the computer they are updating.
The Windows Media Creation tool will download the latest Windows ISO and install the update using ESET Windows Feature Update Utility for EEE and EFDE (ESET Full Disk Encryption).
ESET Windows Feature Update Utility for EEE and EFDE can be used to upgrade your machine from Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or an earlier version of Windows 10.
I. Download the Windows ISO
You can perform this step on any Windows computer.

Run the
MediaCreationTool.exe
file. -
Select the Create installation media for another PC option and click Next.

In the Windows 10 Setup window, select Language, Edition, and Architecture. Click Next.

Select USB flash drive or ISO File and click Next. If you select ISO file, you will need to burn the ISO file to a bootable USB or DVD.

Select a save location for the Windows ISO file and click Save.

When the download is complete, click Open DVD burner or click Finish. In this example, the Open DVD burner option has been selected to burn the ISO to a DVD.

Insert a DVD and click Burn.
II. Install the ESET Windows Feature Update Utility for EEE and EFDE

Download and Run the ESET Endpoint Encryption Windows 10 Updater matching the bit version of the system you are upgrading:
- On 64-bit systems: Windows 10 Updater x64
- On 32-bit systems: Windows 10 Updater x86

Click Go.

Insert or mount the Windows ISO disc, locate setup.exe in the Windows ISO and double-click it.

Click Next. When the Windows update starts, follow the steps to complete the Windows upgrade process. Your PC will restart several times during this process. You will need to provide the Full Disk Encryption (FDE) credentials each time the machine restarts.

Click Install.
