After purchasing or renewing a license for ESET Server Security for Linux, you will receive an email containing your License Key.
To download, unpack, install, and configure ESET Server Security for Linux, follow the steps below:
Download the installation package for the latest version of ESET Server Security for Linux.
Before the installation, verify that you do not have a different ESET security product or any other antivirus software installed on your computer. If yes, uninstall this software from your computer.
Use one of the following commands to run the ESET distribution script with root privileges for the appropriate operating system distribution you have, and follow the on-screen instructions:
./efs.x86_64.bin
sh ./efs.x86_64.bin
Import your ESET license file to activate your ESET Server Security for Linux.
To see the dependencies of the installation package, run one of the following commands:
dpkg -I <deb package>
rpm -qRp <rpm package>
Follow the on-screen instructions. After you accept the product License Agreement, the installation will complete and displays the Web interface login details.
The installer will inform you of any dependency problems.
