Issue
- Install the ESET Endpoint Encryption Client (EEE) using the EEE Server.
- Install the ESET Endpoint Encryption Client without using the EEE Server.
Solution
To install a managed version of ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE), the installation must be generated from the ESET Endpoint Encryption Server.
You can install a managed version ESET Endpoint Encryption Client (EEE) using the following two methods:
- Push install from the ESET Endpoint Encryption Server. The target workstation must be connected to and discoverable by the EEE Server's network.
- Generate an MSI from the ESET Endpoint Encryption Server. This method is for environments where it is not possible to push an install from the EEE Server, such as having remote workers, satellite sites, or if a series of VLAN's prevents workstation discoverability.
