- Create a policy to enable ESET LiveGuard Advanced (formerly ESET Dynamic Threat Defense) using ESET Cloud Office Security

Starting November 29, 2021, in Europe and December 1, 2021, in North America, ESET LiveGuard Advanced will be available for ESET Cloud Office Security version 119.2 and later for free as part of our continuous product improvement process. ESET LiveGuard Advanced is already available to use for endpoint, server, and mail security products.

If you already use ESET Cloud Office Security and own the product as a standalone, ESET LiveGuard Advanced is a new feature and will be available at no additional cost.
If you are an existing ESET PROTECT Complete customer who owns the product as part of the bundle, ESET LiveGuard Advanced is already included in the ESET PROTECT bundle. Be aware we have also expanded the list of ESET LiveGuard Advanced-supported products.
Solution

Navigate to ESET PROTECT Hub or ESET Business Account and log in.

Open your ESET Cloud Office Security account. If your account has not been activated, activate ESET Cloud Office Security.

Click Policies → New policy.

Type a name for your policy. The Description field is optional. Select the targets for your policy and click Next. Read more about policy settings and targets.

Click ESET LiveGuard, click the toggle next to ESET LiveGuard to enable it and click Next.

Click Assign. Select the check boxes next to the names of the target users you want to enable ESET LiveGuard Advanced for and click OK.

Review the targets and click Save changes.

Confirm that ESET LiveGuard is active on client computers:

Click Users and select the user.

Click Configuration, expand ESET LiveGuard, and confirm that ESET LiveGuard Advance is enabled.
