[KB7169] Resync licenses in ESET Endpoint Encryption Server Administrator

Issue

ESET Endpoint Encryption Client and ESET Endpoint Encryption Client Server are separate products from ESET Full Disk Encryption

The article below applies only to the ESET Endpoint Encryption Client or ESET Endpoint Encryption Server and not ESET Full Disk Encryption.

  • If you are an ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE) Server Administrator and have purchased additional licenses, renewed your current subscription, or upgraded your license type, then you must resync your license to display new details

Solution

    1. Log in to ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE) Server and click your organization name.

  1. Click the Licences tab, select the applicable license and then click Details.

  1. Click Resync in the Licence Resync window.
ESET Direct Endpoint Management Plug-in for ConnectWise Automate users must perform manual sync

A dialog box appears informing you of the changes made to the license. In our example below, the license quantity has been increased to 15 licenses.

To update the expiration date on your ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE) client workstations, you must post a Key-File update to all users.
