If you purchased ESET Mobile Security from Micro Center, you need to download the Micro Center version of ESET Mobile Security to successfully activate your product.

Details

• Google Play: to download ESET Mobile Security from Google Play you must have a Google Play account. Your Google Play license purchase will allow you to download and install ESET Mobile Security, ESET Parental Control or ESET Smart TV security on up to 5 separate devices using the same account email.
• ESET.com: you can also purchase ESET Mobile Security from ESET.com. Licenses purchased through ESET.com will allow for installation on a single Android or Kindle Device.
• ESET HOME: ESET Mobile Security users can now sync their ESET HOME accounts during activation. 
• Tablet users: ESET Mobile Security functions differently on tablets, visit our Knowledgebase article for details.

Solution

1. Tap Settings (in some cases, Menu → Settings) → Applications (or Manage Applications), and then tap the check box next to Unknown Sources. Tap OK to continue.

2. On your Android device, visit the following link to download the ESET Mobile Security for Android installer:

   • www.eset.com/us/qr/ems/microcenter
     
     

3. When the download is finished, open the .apk file on your Android device using a file browsing utility and follow the instructions on-screen to install ESET Mobile Security for Android.

4. Tap the Menu icon .

5. Tap License.

6. Tap Enter a License Key.

7. Type the License Key (hyphens are added automatically) from the Installation and Activation card included with your Micro Center purchase into the field and tap Activate.

8. When verification of your license is completed, Activation successful will be displayed. Tap Finish to close the window.
