[KB7248] Delay detection engine updates to minimize the impact of update issues in ESET endpoint products (9.x – 10.x)

• Configure your ESET products to receive delayed detection engine updates

ESET PROTECT users: Perform these steps in ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem.

Delay modules updates on individual client workstations

1. Open the main program window of your Windows ESET product.

2. Press the F5 key to open Advanced setup (if you are on a tablet, tap Setup → Advanced setup).

3. Click Update, expand Profiles → Updates and from the Update type drop-down menu, select Delayed update. Click OK.

4. Repeat the above steps on any remaining client workstations in your network.
