Solution

When installing and activating your software, use the ESET-issued License key, which was sent to you by email after you completed your purchase.

What is a License Key?

The ESET-issued Username and Password used to activate previous (5.x and earlier) versions of ESET business products have been replaced with a License Key and Public License ID in version 6 and later ESET endpoint and server products. The License Key is a unique string that is used to activate ESET business products and identify the license owner.
