[KB2350] Display the ESET icon on the Windows taskbar

Issue

• By default, the ESET icon is not visible on your Windows taskbar (it is only shown in the Windows notification area)

Solution

For quick access to the program's settings and the system’s protection status, you can enable the icon and place it on the taskbar:

1. Right-click on the taskbar and click Taskbar settings.

   

2. Click the Other system tray icons expander, and then click the toggle next to ESET Proxy GUI to enable it.

   

When you see the ESET icon on the Windows taskbar, you can drag-and-drop the icons to change the order.
