Upgrade to Windows 10 with your ESET product installed

Upgrading to Windows 10 Anniversary Update may cause issues with your ESET product!

Upgrading to Windows 10 Anniversary Update, released on August 2nd, 2016, can potentially disable your ESET product. Microsoft has changed their rules for detection of compatible applications in this new build, as a result, ESET products compatible with earlier Windows 10 builds may be disabled following your upgrade.

This issue has been acknowledged by Microsoft. Both Microsoft and ESET have made updates to their respective products to ensure that the lowest number of users are affected.

  • If you have already upgraded to Windows 10 Anniversary Update: You may be prompted to upgrade your ESET product to the latest version. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the upgrade process.
