ESET Parental Control for Android End of Life

The End of Sale date was June 30, 2025. After this date, customers cannot purchase a new ESET Parental Control for Android subscription or renew their existing one (beyond June 30, 2026). The auto-renewal (beyond June 30, 2026) of existing subscriptions will stop.

The End of Life date is June 30, 2026. After this date, users will no longer be able to install, activate, or use the ESET Parental Control for Android app and portal.

The Personal Identification Number (PIN) is a four-digit code that protects app settings on a child's device and prevents the user from uninstalling the application.

This PIN is set from ESET HOME or the ESET Parental Control for Android app.


Solution

ESET Parental Control for Android is discontinuing

ESET will discontinue ESET Parental Control for Android. The End of Sales date was June 30, 2025. After this date, customers cannot purchase a new ESET Parental Control for Android subscription or renew an existing subscription, and there will be no replacement app from ESET.

The End of Life date for ESET Parental Control for Android is June 30, 2026. After this date, ESET Parental Control for Android will stop working, and it will be unavailable on the Google Play Store and ESET HOME.

Set the PIN via ESET HOME

  1. Log in to your ESET HOME account.

  2. In the navigation menu, click Parental Control.

  3. Click your email address in the top right corner of the screen and select Parental Control settings.

  4. In the Parental PIN field, type and confirm your new PIN and click Save.

  5. Your PIN is now set; it will be required to change settings on your child's device. You can reset this PIN any time by repeating the steps in this article.

Set the PIN via the ESET Parental Control for Android app

Log in to ESET HOME

If you access this setting from the Child device, the app will require you to log in to the ESET HOME account.

  1. Open ESET Parental Control for Android on your mobile device.

  2. Tap the menu icon and tap Settings.

  5. Type a four-digit PIN number.
