Problema
- Deployment is not working due to bad connection to the ESET Repositories
- You receive the error message(s) "Get file" or "File Not Found"
- You have SonicWALL installed on the same system as ESET Remote Administrator
Solución
I. Configure Spectorsoft firewall filters
A. SonicWALL Geo-IP Filter
Configure SonicWALL Geo-IP to allow Firewall Access Rules for "Slovakia" (see the Dell Knowledge Base for instructions: https://support.software.dell.com/kb/sw9763).
B. Whitelist ESET domains
- Log in to your SonicWALL Management GUI.
- Go to Security Services → Content Filter.
- Under Content Filter type, select Configure.
- Select the Custom List tab.
- Under Allowed Domains, click add.
- Add *.eset.com and *.eset.sk → click OK → click OK.
To test your connection to the repository, open the following URL in your web browser on your server: http://repository.eset.com/v1/info.meta.
If the issue remains, continue to part II below.
II. Open addresses and ports on third-party firewall
If your third-party firewall is interfering with ESET Remote Administrator, make sure that the appropriate hosts in each ESET component are accessible. See the following ESET Knowledgebase article for more information:
