ESET Endpoint Encryption Client version 5.3 has been released. 


Changelog

  • NEW: AES256 key support to granular and removable media encryption on managed clients
  • NEW: Virtual disks formatted as exFat allowing virtual disks larger than 500GB to be created
  • NEW: Added Turkish Q & F keyboard layouts to the pre-boot environment
  • NEW: New Credential Provider introduced to ensure Single Sign-On (SSO) functions in Windows 11 24H2
  • NEW: SSO supported when resuming from hibernate
  • IMPROVED: When disabling pre-boot authentication, Full Disk Encryption (FDE) now leverages the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) when the system is encrypted using TPM
  • IMPROVED: Encrypted virtual disks are now mounted as removable devices
  • IMPROVED: Explorer is now refreshed for all logged-in users, ensuring that unmounted drives are not left visible
  • FIXED: A problem on Microsoft Surface devices where the system would not boot after turning on Secured Core
  • REMOVED: Support for 32-bit operating systems
  • REMOVED: Support for Server 2012 and Server 2012 R2
