Solution

Limitations updating ESET Inspect Server On-Prem

We do not recommend upgrading your ESET Inspect Server On-Prem via the ESET PROTECT On-Prem task. The server upgrade can be time-consuming because of the database upgrade, and the user cannot check the upgrade progress. We recommend manually installing/upgrading the ESET Inspect Server, where a progress bar is visible and displays the current status.

In ESET PROTECT On-Prem, click the ESET applications tab.

In the Outdated applications tile, click ESET Inspect Server and select Update installed ESET products.

In the next window, verify ESET Inspect Server is selected, and click OK.

Use the drop-down menu and check box if you want to allow device users to postpone or cancel the update. Click Update.
