Tagging is a powerful feature that can be used for classification and serves mainly as an additional form of filtering. ESET Inspect enables you to tag most objects (computers, detections, incidents, executables, scripts, rules, exclusions, blocked hashes, tasks, and event filters). Utilizing tags gives you the advantage of quickly sorting, filtering or finding objects you need. Then you can take action or further process those objects.
Solution
To manage tags, click the expander
icon to display the list of existing tags. Click Computers and then click the three dots
icon to access the tags panel. Click the magnifying glass icon to search for a specific tag.

To activate a filter on an object list, click the tags selector (arrow) icon and select the appropriate tags. The results contain only objects with the selected tags (highlighted in blue).

To create a new tag, type a tag name and then click Apply.

You can assign or unassign tags to one or more objects. To remove a tag, click the X and then click Apply.
Tags are synchronized between ESET Inspect and ESET PROTECT On-Prem.
