[KB8261] Disable application statuses in ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem

Issue

  • Disable application statuses in ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem client workstations and the ESET PROTECT Web Console

Solution

  1. Edit the policy.


    ESET PROTECT

    Click Configuration, click the policy you want to modify and click Edit.


    ESET PROTECT On-Prem

    Click Policies, click the policy you want to modify and click Edit.


  2. Click Settings, expand User Interface and click Notifications. Click Edit next to Application statuses.

  3. Scroll down to General, deselect the check boxes next to the application statuses you want to hide and click Save.

    • Deselect the Show column to hide the status on client workstations.
    • Deselect the Send column to hide the status in the ESET PROTECT Web Console.

    Note that the column names differ across ESET applications for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

  4. Click Finish to apply the changes. Clients will receive the policy changes the next time they check in to ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem.
