We recommend saving your Key-File on an unencrypted network drive or removable media device. Key-Files that are saved in an encrypted area cannot be retrieved when using a stored backup. We do not recommend saving your Key-File on the same encrypted machine.
Right-click the ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE) icon in the system tray.
Click Backup Key-File.

Click Browse.

Select a location and then click OK → OK.
Creating or adding new encryption keys will require new Key-File backups.
