The EEE Reader utility is available for Windows or macOS and enables the decryption of files or text that has been encrypted using a password.  This enables data to be sent securely to users who are not using EEE.

 

Solution

Download ESET Endpoint Encryption Reader and encrypt a text file

  1. Download and install the ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE) Reader and save it to your Desktop.

  2. Open EEE Reader.

  3. Drag and drop the text file into EEE Reader. Alternatively, you can type or paste text information into the blank window.

  1. Type and confirm your password. Click OK.

Decrypt a text file

  1. Open EEE Reader.

  2. Drag-and-drop the text file into EEE Reader.

Decrypt an email attachment

To decrypt an email attachment, save it to your Desktop, then drag it into the open ESET Endpoint Encryption Reader window.

  1. Type your password and click OK.

If you receive the error "The text could not be decrypted because it is not a supported or valid format", disable mobile device compatibility.
