Issue
Solution
If an email client is compatible with ESET Windows applications, all received emails are scanned for threats and spam when Antispam is enabled, regardless of the protocol used.
Additionally, the ESET Endpoint Security toolbar and ESET Antispam toolbar appears in the email client.

[1] Scan for sending is not supported for ESET Endpoint Security/Antivirus 9.1 and later, and ESET Windows home applications 15.2 and later.
[2] While using Windows Mail app, emails may not be scanned for spam. ESET applications will scan POP3 and IMAP emails for the presence of malicious code.
[3] In Windows Live Mail 2011/2012, although no ESET icon appears in the taskbar, the plugin remains fully functional.
[4] ESET applications will scan POP3/POP3S and IMAP/IMAPS email for the presence of malicious code while using Mozilla Thunderbird 6+ or other email clients not listed above. Email may not be scanned for spam, however.
Troubleshooting
If you are using an email client that is supported by ESET Security Ultimate, ESET Smart Security Premium, ESET Internet Security, or ESET Small Business Security, but you cannot see the Antispam toolbar in your email client, reintegrate the toolbar.
