[KB6584] Change your ESET Windows home product (15.x–16.x)
Issue
- "Your license enables you to install a product with more features" is displayed during the installation
- Select a different product during installation
- Change products after installation

- A license for ESET Smart Security Premium can also activate ESET Internet Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
- A license for ESET Internet Security can also activate ESET NOD32 Antivirus. ESET Smart Security was renamed ESET Internet Security with the release of version 11.
- A license for ESET Multi-Device Security can activate ESET Internet Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus using this procedure. It can also activate ESET Mobile Security for Android, ESET Parental Control for Android or ESET Cyber Security for macOS using normal activation.
- You can change products at any time.
- ESET Live Installer will automatically install the ESET product that you downloaded.
Solution
Select a different product during installation

After typing in your License Key, click Change product.

Select the product that you want to install (in this example, ESET Internet Security is selected) and click Continue.

Click Activate.

If you are changing to a product with fewer security features, review the message and click Continue.

Click Finish change. Your product will change following the restart.

Change products after installation

Click Help and support → Change product.

Select the product that you want to change to (in this example, ESET Internet Security is selected) and click Continue.
