[KB3622] Delete an ESET Anti-Theft phantom account

Delete your ESET Anti-Theft phantom account

Your Phantom account was created during the setup of ESET Anti-Theft. To delete this Phantom account, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows product.

  2. Click SetupSecurity tools.

  3. Click the arrow next to Anti-Theft.

  4. Click Phantom account settings.

  5. Click Delete Phantom account.

  6. Click Delete. Your Phantom account is now deleted.

Delete your ESET Anti-Theft phantom account after you have uninstalled your ESET Windows product

Your Phantom account was created during the setup of ESET Anti-Theft. If you have already uninstalled your ESET Windows product and want to delete your Phantom account from your computer, follow the steps below.

  1. Ensure that you are logged in as an administrator. Click the search box on your taskbar, type in Control Panel, then click Control Panel in the results above.

  7. Click Delete Account. Your Phantom account is now deleted from your Windows device.
