Details

If you are using Parental Control, you do not need to set a new password. Your existing Parental Control password protects your program settings.

Solution

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows product.

  2. Press the F5 key to open Advanced setup.

  3. Click User Interface, expand Access Setup, and click Set. In the Password setup window, type a new password, confirm the password and click OK → OK.

    Settings password

The settings password is different from your ESET-issued password, and it is required to modify or remove password protection in your ESET product.

If you forget your settings password, you can unlock your settings password.
