This article applies to an ESET product version that is currently in Limited Support status and is scheduled to reach End of Life status soon.

Migrate from ESET NOD32 Antivirus for Linux Desktop to ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Linux.

To determine which version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 for Linux Desktop you should download, first determine whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system using one of the two methods below:

Method 1

Open the Terminal window, type the following command and press ENTER:

arch

The system type will display as i686 / i386 (32-bit) or x86_64 (64-bit).

If this command does not work for your distribution, proceed to Method 2. 

Method 2

Open the Terminal window, type the following command and press ENTER:

uname -m

The system type will display as i686 or i386 (32-bit) or x86_64 (64-bit).
