[KB3652] Your ESET product displays the message "Antivirus protection disabled"

Issue

  • The Real-time file system protection feature is disabled, or your ESET product displays the notification "Antivirus protection disabled"

Solution

  1. Open the main program window of your ESET Windows product.

  2. Press the F5 key to open Advanced setup.

  3. Click Protections → Real-time file system protection and verify that the toggle next to Enable Real-time file system protection is enabled. Click OK.
