[KB8494] Activate and configure ESET Identity Protection (US customers)

Issue

  • You have ESET Security Ultimate and want to activate and configure the ESET Identity Protection feature
  • You want to see more information about ESET Identity Protection

Solution

ESET Identity Protection availability

ESET Identity Protection is currently available to customers with ESET Security Ultimate.

  1. Log in to your ESET HOME account and click Security features. Alternatively, from the home screen of your ESET Windows home product, click OverviewIdentity ProtectionSecurity features section of your ESET HOME account

  2. Next to Identity Protection, click Explore feature.

  3. Click Activate Identity Protection.

  4. Check the mailbox associated with your ESET HOME account. Open the Your Identity Protection is Ready email and click Create your online account.

  5. When the Identity Protection web page opens, type in your contact information and click Next.

  6. Type in your address information and click Next.

  7. Select the check box next to By checking this box, I agree to be bound by the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice and click Agree & Continue.

  8. Complete the required fields in the Password and Security Questions section and click Next.

  9. Choose the delivery method for your Two-Factor authentication process and click Send code.

  10. Type the code sent to your device with the Two-Factor authentication and click Done.

  11. Click Authenticate → I Agree.

  12. Type in and confirm your Social Security Number and click Submit

  13. Choose an option to confirm your identity, type the 5-digit code and click Verify My Identity

  14. Your Identity Protection is now activated. The Identity Protection Dashboard will appear. Complete the tasks in the Let's Get Started section to finish your enrollment.
