[KB8771] Activate and configure ESET Identity Protection (global)

Issue

  • You have ESET HOME Security Ultimate subscription and want to activate and configure the ESET Identity Protection feature in ESET HOME
  • You want to see more information about ESET Identity Protection

Solution

US customers

If you are a US customer, follow these instructions to activate ESET Identity Protection.

Activation requirements

To activate ESET Identity Protection, you must have created your ESET HOME account password and set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

If any of these requirements are not met, you will be requested to create your ESET HOME password and/or set up 2FA during the activation process.

    1. Log in to your ESET HOME account.

    2. In the navigation panel, click the Identity Protection icon. Alternatively, click Security features in the Features section.

    3. Click Explore feature in the Identity Protection tile.

    4. Select your subscription if you have more than one eligible, and click Continue.

    5. Click Continue.

    6. Click Continue.

    7. Type your ESET HOME password and click Continue.

    8. Type the 6-digit code from your authentication app and click Continue.

    9. Fill in your personal information, select your country from the Country drop-down menu and click Activate.

      Supported characters 

      For your data to be properly monitored, use only Latin alphabet characters (uppercase and lowercase) with diacritics, in combination with digits, spaces, and selected special characters (- # / . ,) in the monitored fields.

    10. ESET Identity Protection has been successfully activated. Click Got it and start using ESET Identity Protection.
