[KB8250] Configure network connection profiles for managed devices in ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem

Issue

• Configure how managed devices recognize trusted networks through ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem
• Define trusted networks for managed devices using ESET PROTECT or ESET PROTECT On-Prem

Solution

1. Open the ESET PROTECT Web Console.

2. Create a policy or open an existing one. To configure the policy settings, follow the steps below.

3. In the policy details, click Settings and select Common Features from the drop-down menu. Click Network Access Protection and click Edit next to Network connection profiles.

   

4. Click Add.

   

5. Type a name for the profile. Enable the Trusted connection toggle. Optionally, in the Always trusted addresses field, type trusted IP addresses or subnets—delimit the entries by a comma. Click Add.

   

6. Expand the attribute required for the network profile and add the necessary information. Click OK.

   

7. Click OK → Save.

   

8. Assign the policy to the devices to which you want to apply the network connection profile.

9. Click Finish.
