[KB7663] Delete a Key-File for Standalone client users in ESET Endpoint Encryption

Details

Standalone client users may need to delete their ESET Endpoint Encryption (EEE) Key-File for different reasons:

  • The user has forgotten their EEE password
  • The user has set up a different machine with EEE and a new Key-File and needs the new machine’s encryption key to match the existing machine

Solution

ESET Endpoint Encryption Client and ESET Endpoint Encryption Server are separate products from ESET Full Disk Encryption

The article below applies only to the ESET Endpoint Encryption Client or ESET Endpoint Encryption Server and not ESET Full Disk Encryption.

Visit ESET Full Disk Encryption support to view ESET Full Disk Encryption content.
